I would like to learn sign language both as a skill and for my work. As a physician, I enjoy working and expressing with my hands and think I would be an apt student. I have no prior knowledge of sign language so would start from scratch. I have quite a bit of time to devote to this in the near future. I am interested in sign language for career advancement. I am more interested in working for my
important issues such as info on HIV/AIDS,envi ronmental issues, etc.So i wish to bridge that gap by being able to communicate with deaf people. I wish to spend 2hours on lessons with somebody who has patience because I have no clue concerning sign language.

The reason why I want to learn american sign language is to help those in need to hear the good news of the bible scriptures in their native language. I am definitely in the beginner level, so I will need help in every possible area. I might be able to dedicate one or two days in a week, two or three hours of learning to the teacher because I work part time and I also dedicate about 70 hours monthly to a full time voluntary service to bring the good news of the scriptures to other. I would like a teacher who will be respectful, helpful, and cooperative with me and will be able to fullfil my need. Anyone who can help as soon as possible will be appreciated. Thank you.
