I would like a tutor who can teach my two daughters along with myself. My children are 7 & 9 yrs. old. We have family members who can speak French. We would like to be able to converse with them in French, and be able to pronounce the written word. We hope to travel to France in 2007. We have have no formal learning at this point. We are beginners. I am looking for about 1 hour per week or every other week, in person, along with some type of lessons I can work with the girls away from the tutor. I am also looking for recommendatio ns, from the tutor, of ways to increase our proficiency such as recommended readings, DVD's, music, etc. Thank you for your consideration . (Lakeland Minnesota is on the St. Croix river, just across from Hudson, Wisconsin)

I am interested to learn French to help me with my future endeavors and to gain additional skill. I am a beginner, and feels the need to gain adept knowledge in all aspect, particularly in everyday communication .
I can dedicate as much as 40-50 hours to this language lesson and may take this during 6-9 pm at night as I am working during the day.
I am particularly keen to have an instructor who will motivate me and is very confident to teach the language. I hope to maximize the instructor's knowledge and proficiency.
