I have travelled to France a couple of times and have picked up the most basic words, so I am a total beginner. I love France and the culture and I'm very keen to be able to communicate. I am travelling to Paris and Cannes in 4 weeks time. Unfortunately I have not given myself much time to learn...lack of organisation I guess. Thats another story:) I live in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and am interested in intensive private tutoring before I leave...maybe 2 or 3 times a week depending on the rates.
I see myself as a reasonably intelligent person and am quite a quick learner, however I would like the teacher to be patient and understanding , as I find learning a new language very confronting.

I am making enquiries on behalf of myself and a friend. We are both interested in learning French. My partner is French speaking Belgian and as his family speak no English, I would like to learn their language. My friend may be moving to Lyon for business and is also interested. We would be looking at personal tutoring in the evenings possibly one or two evenings a week. Hello, I am a 29 year old New Zealander who learned French at school for 6 years but have not used it for a long time. I have lived in the UK for three years and have lived since July 2004 in France. I would consider myself to be intermediate level and really would like to improve my grammar and conversationa l skills, so that I can talk to a wide variety of people about a wide range of subjects. I am going to be living in Malemort-du-C omtat (20 minutes from Carpentras)fr om July-December 2005 and would really love to have some tutoring on a regular basis (weekly), preferably a private lesson.I tend to be a visual learner and find it difficult to pick up the language if i am just hearing it auditorally- I need to see it in its written form as well.
