French: I can read French tolerably well (intermediate or better), but I need a lot of work in speaking and listening comprehension .
German: I have taken classes in the past, so I used to be at about intermediate level, but that was years ago. With a little refresher I think I would be back at intermediate again.
Rus sian: Same as German, I was at intermediate level, but I've been lazy and haven't practiced so I'm very rusty.
I would like to improve any of these language in preparation for international work. Most of all, I think I need conversationa l practice.
I can devote a maximum of 2 hours/day to classes (not including homework), in the evenings after work. This depends on fees and class location, of course.
I am looking for teachers who will challenge me. I am a fast learner, so I often get bored in regular classes! Of course, I am also looking for a teacher who will make learning enjoyable. I am an avid reader in English, and would like to be one in the other languages too, so someone who enjoys literature and uses it in their lessons would also suit me.
I am currently taking classes at Alliance Française in Vancouver, but I am seeking to switch to one-on-one tutoring or small classes (not more that 5 students). I am tired of being stuck, bored, in large classes that go at the pace of the slowest student!

I have had very little exposure to French language; so starting at the beginner's level seem to be appropriate. My motivation for learning French has its roots in two reasons-a)the way the language sounds seems very charming to me
b)it is widely spoken in many countries
I can devote few hours every weekend fo the language. I would admire if the pedagogy is group based, interactive and involves practicing while learning the language.

A highly qualified teacher is not required. Just able to guide and teach the daily conversations in French.

Hi, I am at the final stage of beginners for french, I am currently learning in Singapore Alliance Francaise, desperately need to find a tutor that's based in Johor Bahru. Someone who can speak & write fluent French. I would like to improve everything in french, conversation, grammar, culture etc... I am eager to continue Japanese as well, I am still at beginners, have stopped for a while. I hope I can find some teachers who is quite flexible in time, say available during weekend morning or afternoon or even weeknights, cause I work from 9am - 6pm weekdays, and alternate Saturday from 9am - 1pm. I hope to dedicate as much time as possible for learning french, depends if the teacher would be able to do so as well. I guess 1 week 2-3 times, would be the most ideal timetable. I hope the teacher is teaching towards a friend-like teaching, fun yet good in explaining, understand the student's progress as well as weak point.
