Hi,
My name is Fatima and I am currently a student in Berlin. A classmate of mine told me that you were tutoring in Berlin and I was wondering if you had any spaces left? And also what your prices were?
I want to get to a B1 standard by February. Currently, I am A1.2/A2. I am taking an intensive course at a sprachenshule , but the teacher is terrible! I am in my 2nd week (out of 4) and I am not learning alot. The teacher assumes that we should know everything already and speaks very very quickly!! So right now I am feeling a bit lost, as I don't know what to do.
I am a student at FU Berlin (ERASMUS) but I am studying in englisch for the first semester. I would love to be B2 by March/April, but I don't know if I will be able to. I am willing to work very hard, and spend a long time each day studying. But I need to have some sort of direction.... And I have no idea what I need to learn/how, so I am just confused!!
As I am a student, I am funding myself in Berlin. I don't have alot of money, so I would need to have 1 lesson a week (depending on price). I have been told 90 min lessons are better than 45min as you can get more done. But it all depends on the price unfortunately .

I am studying this year in the FU Berlin, I study Political Science and I would really like to take classes in German next semester. So thats basically getting from an A1 level to a as high as I can go.
I have had some German training in my home university, but I know it is not enough for my to successfully communicate with other people in German.
I glided through school in the US so I really need to work on my grammer and sentence structure, I also really need to commit to memorizing vocabulary. In general though learning a language is learning a language, I want to absorb as much as I can.
This year is all about learning German, thats is why I am here, I am a student at the Uni so of course I do not have massive amounts of time, but I am willing to work extra for this.
I need a teacher who is light hearted because I do not like the type of teacher who makes you feel stupid, especially when learning language you are bound to feel a bit silly. I also need someone who hold me accountable, as in does not let me get away with slacking, though as I am supposedly an adult now, I try to not slack off.

My son went to year 4 in UK which is key stage 2. He will visit a German School now and needs help with English and German. He speaks both languages but can only write a bit in English. His German is only oral right now. I would like to find a teachers which teach both languages to him.It would be on each Saturday for 2 hours. 2 weekends English and 2 weekends German. He also needs help in basic Maths. I am looking for a native speaker in each language.
