To whom it may concern,
I am very interested in learning Icelandic. I am first generation American. My mother is Icelandic. I have just returned from a trip to Iceland, to visit family. I had such a wonderful time, I am going to make the trip every other year. Although, virtually my entire family is fluent in English,(amon g 2 or 3 other languages)I would LOVE to make Icelandic my second language. As of now, I know only a few words, not even enough to get by if I traveled on my own.
I would like to dedicate 1-3 evenings per week to learn, with a patient, caring and dedicated teacher. Possibly, a native Icelander, who would know the proper way to teach a very difficult language.

my level of sign language is beginner. i have really taken a intrest in learning sign language because i am hearing imparied in one ear. and i really want to learn because i think it is so beautiful on how pepople can talk with their hands and also it will benifet me later on in life.i would like to know all from grammer to hold a conversation. i would like to dedicate as much time as i can.
