My great grandfather was from Scotland and I've always been fascinated with the history and culture of the country. I can speak German, but have no experience with Gaelic. I am an English teacher and will devote a lot of time during the summer months studying the Gaelic language. I won't quit! I have been in love with Gaelic since first hearing it and have been dying to learn. I really like that it is not a 'common' language.
I am a beginner level with Gaelic.
I need to improve it all. I have been trying to learn on my own and have been struggling.
I would like to have at least 2 lessons a month.
I am looking for a teacher that can either meet inperson or is willing to Skype or FaceTime for lessons. At my own pace lessons are not helping. I need direction and goals structured by a tutor.

I would like to learn ASL because I've always been interested in learning it. I learned the alphabet, which I still remember, and some other words in elementary school, and I've always wanted to be fluent.
I would consider myself a beginner I level student, but I feel I would likely pick up the language quickly. I would like to do a weekly lesson for an hour or two, or whatever the instructor feels is appropriate.
I learn best hands-on (no pun intended), so in-person lessons would be necessary. I'm willing to travel or host lessons in my home (I do have a dog, who would be put away during the visit).
