I am looking for a tutor fluent in Arabic to help improve my overall Arabic skills and knowledge. I have, over the past year, been independetly learning Arabic and so far I have managed to learn the vast majority of the Alphabet and I am beginning to understand full words and phrases. Sadly I am unable to find any school or college in this city which will teach Arabic. I am looking for a teacher to help improve my Arabic and widen my knowledge of the language. I am currently at University reading International Politics. I hope to be able to work in the Middle East in the future and I would like to have Arabic.

I am a complete beginner Lithuanian, while as far as Russian is concerned, I am proficient reading the Cyrillic Script. I will be moving to Lithuania in February and really want to be able to converse, so that I can get to know the people well. I am studying vocabulary at home, but I need to work on my oral proficiency. I would like to have an intensive 4-6 week instruction in Lithuanian. I am looking for a teacher who has the time available, some experience teaching (though this is not necessary), and is a native or near native speaker of Lithuanian.

My parents live in Turkey and I have been visiting the country for severeal years. I spent a summer season working in Icmeler 8 years ago and then developed some basic Turkish skills. I have forgotten a lot of what I learnt and am keen to be able to speak, read and write upto a reasonable level. I have a small understanding of Turkish. I can get by in meeting people, ask for directions, order food, count numbers etc.
I wish to be more proficient in Turkish mainly to be able to speak in more depth with Turkish friends that I have, who have a limited understanding of English. But also I have a love of the Country, the culture and the food! and I wish to travel more around less tourist dominated area's of Turkey and feel that a greater understanding of the language would be necessary to do so.
I have tried on several occasions to self teach with linguaphonic products but lack the dedication to devote time to it and feel that with regular lessons I will be more greatly motivated.
I work in Maidenhead Berkshire 3 days per week, so I could organise to have 1 or 2 lessons per week either in the North where I live or somewhere in the South.
Ide ally I am seeking a native speaker to teach me not only how to speak, read and write correctly in Turkish, but also to educate me in 'real' Turkish (ie how to be understood by the man on the street as well as speaking 'classroom' Turkish)

I am a third year Glasgow University student wanting regular weekly classes in Mandarin Chinese. I lived in Beijing for several years, thus studied Chinese in International schools for most of my life, yet am not satisfied with my current level. I recently did a summer course in Chinese to continue studying and now being back in Glasgow, feel as if I am loosing most of what I learned. I am desperately seeking for someone who will practise speaking with me, and provide exercises and assistance in reading and writing.
