I am very keen to learn Polish as quickly as possible. At least to have a good understanding of particularly the spoken word but also the written, especially grammar.
The main initial reason for learning is that I have a Polish boyfriend and therefore we mix very much with other Polish friends.We intend to visit Poland this year and therefore I wish to have as much understanding as possible.
I have begun to learn from home and I do now have a better understanding , but this learning is slow and limited.
I speak French and have studied Spanish and German in the past.
I'm not sure what qualities I'm looking for in a teacher, someone who is flexible and dedicated, especially anyone who lives close to me in South Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshi re. Failing that Middlesex or London areas.

beginner level, I will eventually live in Sweden (with my Partner who Swedish !) and of course, I would want to work there naturally. All areas of the Swedish Language needs covering . I travel alot with my present job, so I would probably fit in once or twice a week. Qualities are important, so patience and guidance is strong with me.

I want to learn Chinese because the language fascinates me. At the moment I am not exactly sure if I want to learn Mandarin or Cantonese but I think Mandarin might be a good choice for the beginning.
I could imagine staying in China/Hongkon g for a while and therefore want to learn the language.
I would like to take classes once a week as I am working full-time.
