I would feel more comfortable about going if I'm able to communicate better with his friends and family. Plus I love the language I need Help! Hello, everyone!
My name is Adam Fechter. I am 18 years old and leaving to university in September 2012. I know English, French, and Spanish, but am looking to study Swahili because I am going to work as an urban developer in the south-eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. By the time I head off to university, I would like to have a strong foundation and know a basic-interme diate level of Swahili. I know absolutely none of the language as of now, but am a quick learner and want to learn as much as I can in the amount of time I have.
As for my teachers, I just need for them to be able to go at my pace. I have read a lot about worldwide linguistics, so grammar will come much more quickly for me than will vocabulary. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible and affordable to my lessons.

I would like to learn Swahili as I work on and off in East Africa. I have already lived there for over a year but I didn't have the time to pick up anything more than the very bare basic use of the language. My next contract involves more relationship Tanzanians so I would like to be able to communicate more proficiently.

I know basic Swahili from living in Tanzania for 5 months and Uganda for 1 month. I would like to become fluent in Swahili because I hope to return to East Africa in a year and a half. I need help with conversation. I should be able to study for half an hour every day and meet with a teacher once a week. I need a patient teacher who is well prepared.
