I am completing this form on behalf of my son who is only 7yr old. He has been learning Mandarin for the past 3yrs. He has been learning this on a one-to-one basis for one year, and as part of a Chinese school for 2 years. He would now like to continue learning the language on a one-to-one basis, in the comfort of his own home.
I would like him to achieve a Key Stage 2 level of the language over the next few years; learning areas such as reading, written/gramm ar and spoken. I would like him to dedicate 2hours (1hr tutoring and 1hr set homework) per week to this subject, which I will be happy to do on a weekly basis.
My son is a keen and enthusiastic learner. Therefore, I require a qualified, patient tutor who will be able to make their lessons interesting and fun to keep my 7 year old engrossed.

I always wanted to learn Spanish. Now that I am working as a translator, learning a new language would enhance my career. I took a beginners class which got me used to the language. But I still want to start all over again. I do not have good command on grammar nor forming sentences. I would like to take up to 2 classes a week. I would like my teacher to teach me the language spoken in Spain, not South America, and I prefer to have a female teacher who is dedicated and patient, does not rush the process.

I've been learning Mandarin for about 10 months now. I live in London but am currently in Thailand for 1 month and would like to take some lessons while I am here. At the moment, I'm only interested in learning to speak, not write characters. As such, I have only been using Pinyin. My vocabulary is very high for 10 months (I've memorised over 4,000 words so far) but I really need to improve my grammar and listening skills.
