I have never studied chinese before and so am a total beginner. However, I have spent the last two months in China and am planning to go back so would like to learn how to speak the language. I am a beginner at Hungarian although I really shouldn't be, my father was Hungarian and we now are able to visit family over there, we go about twice a year and I can't speak the language. My Hungarian family all speak English but out of respect for my father and his family I want to be able to speak Hungarian.
I have waited this long, I am now 21, because I have been at school or out with friends a lot, now I feel I have the time to be able to dedicate myself to it as I know just from listening and learning the language is very difficult.
I have studied French, Spanish and Latin at GCSE level, my ability for learning languages was strong then, I have not studied languages for a while though but am sure, as I am determined to succeed, that i will be able to grasp the language soon enough.
