My ultimate ambition is to become a polyglot. I am currently in my third semester of college, pursuing an associate's degree in general studies and a bachelor's degree in linguistics. The languages I am currently learning are French and Japanese. I have never been to France, but I have travelled to Japan in the summer of 2016 and toured Tokyo, Kyoto, Mount Fuji, Hiroshima, and Osaka. I am still at a beginner's level with the languages, although I have been studying both. I took two years of French back in high school. My memory of the language has become vague since then. I learned 2/3 of the Japanese writing system (hiragana and katakana) through my mentor who accompanied me on my trip to Japan. I have been self-teaching since I graduated from high school and do not have any contact with my old mentor. I remember hiragana, but I must revisit katakana as I have forgotten some of the characters. As for French, I mostly have knowledge of it through my fluency in Creole. I need improvement in grammar and conversation in both languages. I yearn to be able to speak them as fluently as my native language, English. My hope is that I am able to someday teach them to those who have the same desire as me. I am more than willing to dedicate as much time required to language lessons. It would be a blessing if I could find teachers that are patient and dedicated to helping me achieve my ambition. The art of languages is one that I find to be unmatched. If language was not a barrier, I believe the world would be more united.

I am learning these languages not only for career advancement but as well as for fun. I have been working around the world and we all know that the problem in communication is language barrier. I am a beginner but i have a basic understanding in phrases and words of the language I want to learn. There will be no issues regarding the time. I am looking for a teacher who can maximize his/her time and can make out the most of the class, I dont require perfect grammar. I just want to learn and be able to converse on the language I want to learn.
