I would like mme and my kids to learn sign language i have a 5 year old special needs daughter and she cant talk and she wears a hearing aid i would like to learn to commuicate with her better i'm going through a divorce right know and i'm looking for a job because i have been a stay at home mom so i dont have much money if you are not able to help do you know a program that can. I graduated from the University of South Florida 5 years ago with a BA in Speech Lang. Path/Audiolog y and a minor in Sign Language. I took ASL 1,2 and 3. As I mentioned I have been out of it for 5 years. I am interested in going to school for interpreting, but need to re-learn sign to do this. I am very excited and love sign!! If anyone is willing to help me, it would be greatly appreciated!!

I have a sister who is deaf in which taught me the basic sign lanuguage i currently know. However, i was home taught so i want to start off fresh so i can pursue my career as a sign language interpeter.
I work a 40 hour schedule, but i would love to commit to how ever much time i can handle.
I need a teacher who is patient and willing to show you the ropes on how to get where im trying to go.

I am basically a beginner. I do know the alphabet letters but not very quickly as to spell words quickly. I want to learn the sign language to use in ministry, reaching out to the deaf. I am not quite sure where I will be used at this point.
I will dedicate two to three nights per week or I can do an hour or two per day if I can do it online somehow.
I am looking for a teacher who can teach the American Sign Language with grace. A teacher who is kind and understanding . I would like to learn as quickly as possible and would appreciate a certificate of completion when course is finished or whatever other documents that may be given at the courses end.
