Proficiency level is beginner. I now basic greetings and numbers. My desire to learn Manadarin is to be able to communicate more effectively with my fiance' who is currently living in China and taking English lessons. I need improvement in all areas as I have primarily studied by using audio language courses. I willing to dedicate as much time to learning as I can. Looking for an Arabic tutor who has time for one-on-one lessons. My time schedule is incredibly flexible, especially in the evening. I'd like to meet 2-3 times a week, for an hour each lesson. Looking to start these lessons as soon as possible and continue them until mid-March 2007.
I'm mostly self taught with a basic understanding of MSA. I understand pronouns, possessives, present tense, limited vocabulary words, and can read the language decently. I'm a military officer looking to apply these skills in upcoming deployments.
I'm extremely motivated and will work hard between our sessions. I need an instructor willing to assign homework and who is very focused. I would like to work on my conversationa l and reading skills.
