I have previously learned Farsi as part of a job requirement and can speak at an intermediate level (1+).
I am looking for a teacher that can work with me for 3-4 hours a day for a few weeks so I can re-certify in my control language.
I need my teacher to be able to gloss over all the beginner level lessons because I wont have a lot of time to refresh before I will be required to test out, and all the beginner-leve l stuff I already know and will come back to me as we are going over the more advanced lessons - like, if I say 'I'm good' she needs to have the flexibility to move on to something else.
Also I prefer female teachers that are close to my age as it makes the whole experience less awkward, and its easier for me to learn from someone who I can relate to generationall y.
For the learning environment, I can video chat from home, that is the best and easiest way for us to conduct the lessons, that way no one is restricted by a physical classroom setting, yet we can still have basically face-to-face interactions.

I studied beginning Dari for six months through a Dari language program in Fayetteville. I need particular work in the areas of reading (especially media) and more advanced conversationa l Dari.
The best description of my current level of proficiency is that I could 'get by' if I took a vacation to Kabul. I am very capable in reading/writi ng basic sentence structure and can usually translate Farsi language tweets without much trouble. I struggle with more advanced media.

I am very interested because I have made many Russian friends and would like to increase my proficiency with the language. I am a beginner, I have learned a few basics. I need improvement on proper pronunciation . At least several hours weekly would be dedicated if not more. My instructor should be able to recognize my weaknesses and alter the leaning plan to adapt to my learning needs.
