Hello,
My name is Janelle and I am a native English speaker from Australia living in Milan. I am working as an au pair for a bilingual English/Itali an family, and would like to learn Italian, both for work and and my own personal development.
I am taking Italian classes twice a week starting in October, and am looking for a tutor for one or two lessons a week, during school hours, to practice conversation, and teach grammar. I am a complete beginner so patience and a sense of humour is a must.

I am a beginner/inte rmediate italian learner. I understand what I read much better than what I hear. I need to learn to hear and speak properly as well as learn proper grammar. I would like to dedicate 3-4 hours a week to face to face lessons, and will work outside of these on my own.
For the teacher, I am looking for someone who can help the vocabulary and sounds stick in my mind and help me with pronunciation . Most of all, someone who is patient and has a sense of humor! I don't mind laughing at myself!

I'm a writer and cook working on a project that brings me to Italy. I will be spending some time near La Spezia and Carrara and then traveling South to Puglia. I am a student of Slavic Languages and studied Russian and Serbian at University. I have basic skills in French as well.
