I have always been extremely interested in learning to speak Italian and I just think it would be a really great achievement. I have taken an introductory Italian course at my university, but unfortunately I'm already starting to forget a lot of things. I would be willing to dedicate several hours a week to lessons. I want to take Italian II at my school during the summer, so my goal is to be able to pass that class without any problems. I'm looking for a teacher who can help me get to that point, but I also want to have fun learning too!

I am interested in learning italian because i think it's a beautiful language. I am starting to travel there with my husband and would love to know what is being said. I am a beginner, I know nothing. I am looking for someone who can help me learn the language as well as a little about the culture. I will be traveling in the summer, and would like to have lessons once a week? I am open to suggestions for a learning schedule etc.

I am learning Italian for pleasure, because I love the language. At the moment, I am at either a high intermediate or low advanced level depending on which test and standard one uses. I do have a teacher here in Austin but I will be traveling to Rome in late April for a week and would like to explore the possibility of having a private lesson daily while I'm there. My current thinking is an hour or two a day in private study but I'm open to suggestion. In a language teacher, I think the most important quality, given proficiency in teaching, is patience.

I would like to learn the Italian language. I'm interested in learning it as I'm planning on studying in Italy. I am still a beginner. I tried learning using an interactive learning cd, but I found it difficult to understand the language after a certain level. I would be happy if I can learn from somebody who is knowledgeable and proficient with the Italian language.
