My husband and I are planning a 2 week trip to Tuscany in July and we want to be proficient in basic conversation and reading Italian--dire ctions, time, money,polites se, restaurants and grocery stores, shops.
We would like to have a teacher for about 8 weeks beginning the week of March 22-twice weekly. We have had some Italian instruction but have lost most of what we learned 5 years ago.
Both of us speak and understand French

My interest in learning Italin is purely for personal development. i have no background to the language; therefore proficiency level is BEGINNER. As i will be starting the language, i need improvement in all areas as i need to discover the italian within me. In the forseeable future i have plans to move to Italy so require the foundation to everyday life.
I would require a teacher who has flexibility with their working hours (as i work as a sales executive in hospitality industry). In adition to this i would also like to learn about the culture as i believe the two go hand in hand. In terms of teching methods, it would be helpful to have a teacher who sees their 'students' as individuals and would be able to adapt the lesson to how i best learn - practicality is key.
Aprox imately 3 hours a week, is a realistic start to how much time i can dedicate, in relation to my working hours.
