I spent some time in Italy a few months ago and went to language school there. I want to learn Italian to be able to speak and communicate with my current partner. I will be traveling back to Italy in May. I need basic conversation, reading and writing. I'm looking for a teacher who help me to develop the skills I need, and be patient.

Dear Potential Italian Teacher
My friend Anita (50 yrs) and I decided that this year we would love to learn Italian. We both love cooking , Opera and Classical music and reading. As many Opera's are written in Italian it would be wonderful to understand what they are singing! I am a psychologist and studied in my thirties while still looking after a husband and two children and managed to obtain my masters degree. I now have my own practice in family and couples therapy. Anita was a tour guide operator for many years and has travelled the globe.I have a basic understanding of French which I studied at school and University when I first studied my teaching degree in the 1980's. I visited Italy for the first time in 2006 and fell in love with the people the language and the food.
Anit a and I would like to study together privately or maybe with one or two others in the class but not more than that.We would like to study in a home environment that is in the Northern area of Johannesburg once a week on a weekday evening or morning (My practice is in the afternoons)an d we want to focus on spoken conversation. We would like a teacher who is fun but able to help us grasp the grammar and vocabulary needed to converse proficiently in Italian.
I f we seem to be the kind of students you would like to teach then we would love to hear from you.

My proficency level is begginer, however, i already speak Serbian, English and some Spanish. I'm travelling to Italy in March and would like to converse in Italian as much as I can. I would be available for an intense training over the next two months (2-3 per week).
