I work in the travel industry and I want to learn new languages for career advancement. I am fluent in English but I want to learn Spanish and Italian. Then perhaps more languages later on. I think I would need to improve on all apsects like grammar, conversation, sentence construction, etc. I am willing to spend at least an hour or two daily to learn the new language, perhaps more hours if need to be. I am looking for a teacher who is more conversationa l style.

1. I am learning the foreign language for interaction with future cultures and to expand my horizons. Italian language is something I've been interested in for a long time. I also need to pass the placement exam so that I don't have to take 2 years and being a huge waste of time. More personal one on one experience with a tutor.
2. I am a beginner
3 . I heard that spanish is alot like Italian, I know spanish fair, but not conversationa lly. I need to start over with Italian. The teachers at college are awful at teaching foreign language, I need a new approach.
4. I would dedicate about 3-4 hours a week definately. Probably more.
5. I'm looking for a teacher who is personable, who is patient, tolerant, understanding and is has been through schooling. Also would like someone who can teach me the culture a little bit as well as help me speak the language fluently. I need to know how to write it, proper grammar. The grammar is important and the reading comprehension is important for the placement test, but I want to learn it conversationa lly too after I get the hang of the grammar.
