I am a complete beginner in Italian. I want to learn because I have joined an italian cycling team starting march 2009 and they don't speak much english! The important thing is to be able to speak, although I know I need grammer to do that properly. I have lived in france and learnt french already, so that should help.

I have a basic understanding of Italian grammer, and a rudimentary vocabulary, I did 3 months of Italian while still at school, and have made one 2 week visit to northern Italy.
I wish to learn Italian because I have Italian family who I wish to visit at some stage and would like to be able to converse with.
I would like to focus on improving my conversation skills.
I would prefer to have a class once a week for around 2hrs.
Havi ng a native speaker would be preferable, but is not absolutely necessary.
