I have no formal training in Arabic. I have learned a few basic phrases from friends, mostly in Egyptian dialect. I am looking to actually LEARN the language, not just memorize phrases. I want to understand the grammar structure, etc. Due to my job, I am limited to evening or weekend classes. I prefer a native Egyptian Arabic speaker for a teacher. Small classes or private lessons preferred.

To Whom It May Concern:
I have no proficiency in Farsi whatsoever. I've tried via various web sites to begin learning the alphabet, but it's all too overwhelming on my own. I have thus come to the conclusion that to meet my new year's resolution of learning Farsi, I will require a skilled teacher. As I have a full-time job and am also enrolled in college classes, I feel that it would be unrealistic for me to schedule more than two classes in Farsi per week, for which I would be able to set aside an hour to an hour and a half per lesson. My teacher must be a fluent speaker/reade r/writer of Farsi, and able to communicate effectively that which I must know to become myself a fluent speaker/reade r/writer of same. Lessons should be challenging without being stultifying. I hope someone will contact me soon. Thank you!
