I am a beginner. I am a beginner and wish to travel to Italy in the fall of 2006. My grandparent immigrated to USA in 1914 from Italy and were never able to return. I wish to visit the homeland of my family and explore both my heritage and the wonderful country. I understood my grandparents dialect as a child but was never expected to speak Italian so I never did. I have recently purchased some books and CD's for self study but wish to have lessons one on one so that I may become fluent.

Hello,
My name is Desiree Benvenuti and my second language is Italian. My dads side of the family were all born in Italy and therefore I grew up around it; however, cannot speak it as well as I would like. My family speaks a dialect, and I can understand most of what they say, but not all; and I can reply somewhat in english mixed with italian but would love to be able to speak fluently.
I signed up for a course earlier this year with my boy friend but school was to overwhelming so we had to drop the course unfortunately , but over the summer, and possibly spring I would like to start up again.
I would prefer one on one classes, a few times a week or a class with you, my boyfriend and myself.
Plea se get back to me as soon as possible.
