I lived in Italy for a summer back in 2003 and I studied Italian some. I am still very much a beginner, but I do know a few basic phrases for communication . I am looking to become proficient in Italian because I love the culture of Italy and wish to go back there when I have fully learned the language.
While I am most interested in conversationa l Italian, I would also like to learn to read and write Italian. Grammar will likely be the hardest part for me.
I would like to take lessons once or twice a week. Again, I ultimately wish to become fluent in conversationa l Italian.
I am a well educated individual, and I usually pick up on concepts very quickly.
