I was born in Australia by Greek parents, and am now also wanting to learn Italian as I am dating an Italian guy and would love to be able to communicate fluently with his family! I am definitely at a beginner's level!
From what I've read on this website, hourly sessions seem to be the norm which sounds good to me!
I am looking for a teacher/tutor who is of course patient, fluent in Italian, and is able to teach me the language at our own pace with positive results!

-I am a 1001 Student in Italian at the U of M. (aka a beginner).
- I find Italian (Well, foreign languages in general) my most difficult subject.
-Not only is a language a required part of my CLA degree but I am tired of knowing a single language...in addition to this I am academically ambitious so I'd like to pass with more then a 'just getting by' grade.
-I am looking for two to three hours a week in private tutoring.
-I am looking for an instructor who can adapt to my circiulum, and work with me through my weaknesses.

I would like our family to learn Italian (2 adults + 2 children, or at least the children) for extended travel in a few years. Group lessons are fine. I am looking for a teacher who are able to teach children by making it fun, interactive, etc. in a supportive environment. None of us know a foreign language.
