I am looking for a way to become proficient in sign language. I am at a beginning level now, as I only know the alphabet. I have always had a high interest in signing and the deaf community, and would like to be able to contribute. I feel that learning sign language is a natural way to start.

I am a 20 year old student interested in learning the afore mentioned languages for personal advancement. I have no previous experience with Tagalog and Creole, and I would consider myself intermediate in sign language. Im particularly interested in developing conversation skills. I would like to dedicated about an hour to an hour and a half to a weekly lesson. The qualities that I am looking for in a tutor/teacher are patience, and a clear lesson plan, and plenty of conversation.

I am a student wanting to learn sign language as i am studying music and feel it will enhance my career prospects by being able to communicate with the deaf. I feel areas of grammar and conversation are particularly important for me. Ideally, i would like to reach a commendable standard within a month as i am willing to put in the hours. I want a teacher who is thorough and clear when explaining. I also want the lessons to be varied and cover all areas of sign language.

I am 28 years old and my daughter is 9 years old. We both would like signing lessons. Neither one of us have taken a class before. I work in the public schools and this would further my career advancements. As for my daughter she has a heart for children with disabilities and just wants another way to communicate with them.
