I will be moving to Tokyo, Japan later this year for work. So, I'll need to improve my Japanese skills. Currently, I'd say I am about lower intermediate level, and I have been doing private lessons with a Japanese teacher in Sydney for the past 9 months.
I think I still need to really work on my conversation and listening skills, and my Kanji reading. Later I plan to take the JLPT exams all the way up to N1.
I would like to start at 2 times per week (2 hours total per week) and see how that goes.
I am looking for an easy going teacher, who is honest and willing to be patient at times. I also need guidance with what text books I should be using.

I am interested in learning chinese language, even if I am at a very basic level. In other words, I am starting now. I speak japanese though, this may help I think.
I will start from scratch in learning so, I guess it should be up to the teacher to decide the topics on which to focus. Grammar comes first I think.
I will dedicate a meeting per week (this because of working hours). I hope my teacher to be flexible enough in meeting hours.
