Hello! I'm Sam, and I'm living in Miyazaki-shi for the next two months, because I really want to learn to speak better Japanese. I want to deeply connect with the culture, language, and cuisine of Japan, which is why I'm learning Japanese!
I can read hiragana, katakana, and 200 kanji. I can have simple conversations , but I make a lot of mistakes - I'm still a beginner. I would like a lot of in person conversation practice, where I can get real feedback on my Japanese and help me sound more natural.
I'm very flexible with how much time I dedicate to the language lessons, it depends how much I'm getting out of them. I'd like to start off with just 1 or 2 sessions per week though.
