I'm a beginner wanting to learn the language based on the fact that I'm from an Italian family but was not taught the language. I would like to take my learning to an advanced level in regards to conversation and grammar and pass it on through my children. i have and will have more business contact with italian speaking people and found only english is not adequte to understand the mentality and way of expression. so i would like start with conversation and easy grammar in order to communicate better and understand better the language and the people.
i would like to have group class or private lession with licensed or qualified teacher, native or fluent.

I am a beginner in Italian and I would love to learn it very well. I just got back from a 4 week trip to Italy and I have decided to attend college there, so I definitly need some knowledge of the language before I go. I learn a lot better with conversation skills, expecially if there were other students with me. I want to dedicate as much time as possible to learn this language, I took 3 years of French in High School, so I am trying to get rid of that mindset. I am looking for a kind, patient teacher that will really challenge me, because I want more than anything to learn Italian. Thank You.
