I am a beginner and want to learn Italian so I can commuicate with my Italian relatives. I would think I need to learn grammar and conversation. I am willing to devote an hour a week to lessons with daily practise on my own. I am looking for a teacher with patience and creative methods for learning a language. I have never studied Italian, but I have been exposed to the language a lot. My level is probably intermediate (though my understanding is higher than that). I want to study Italian because my husband is Italian and we maybe moving to Rome in few years time. The focus of the lessons should be communication but still with an emphasis on grammar. I would like 3 hours a week one-to-one or in a small group.
The teachers needs to be qualified and not only a native speaker, creative and well prepared.

My name is Karishma Sewpersad. I am 26 year old indian south african female. I hold a chemical engineering degree. I am currently employed by a ferrochrome producing company and have recently entered into the Marketing department.
Most of our clients are European. As my job will entail travelling abroad at a later stage, i want to take the opportunity now and learn a language. I wish to learn italian.
I am a beginner and am interested particularly in learning to speak italian. My teacher should be an individual with the ability to communicate easily in English and obviously Italian. He / she should have a ability to get the most out of their students.
