I am looking for an Italian native, who can teach me Italian. I have previously taken both French and Latin, so it is not completly new to me.
I want to learn Italian because, I am tired of listening to Italian opera, Italian pop music and Italo, and not understanding fully, what they are singing about, and then because I have deep interest in Italy, and love to learn new languages.
I would like to have on or two lessons a week, in the daytime if possible.
I would prefer a native Italian speaker, with teaching expirience. My goal is to be able to both converse daily, but also to be able to converse on more serious subjects.

I do not speak any Italian, but will be traveling to Italy with my family this summer and would like to learn enough to be comfortable getting around, ordering in a restaurant, etc. I would like to spend 2-3 hours per week on lessons with an instructor that tries to make learning fun.
