im looking to learn Punjabi from a beginners level. I have little experience in learning the language so far but feel its really important to me personally as im looking to marry someone who also speaks it.
im looking for a tutor that can spend time with on all areas of the language and has an understanding nature to my previous lack of knowledge and possible slow pick up speed at the start.
im looking for lessons once a week with no time frame of when i would like it to end.
my main goal is to be able to understand and speak Punjabi at a basic level and not so much focus on the writing side of the language if at all possible.

I am a professional and I want to learn hindi for a number of reasons:
1 . to speak with my partner's family
2. to reconnect with my indian roots
3. so that I can understand hindi music
I am a complete beginner. I understand gujerati and bengali. As I have a busy work life I would be able to dedicate one morning or an evening a week to lessons in a face to face teaching environment.
I'm looking for a teacher who is close in proximity, who would be patient enough with me learning grammar from scratch (I think this is the reason I never learnt to speak my native languages). I think my strength will be my pronunciation when I've actually learned the language. I've been told that I have a good ear!
