Need the beginner level for my 13 year old son. He has difficulty with the Englich language and can not master a Spanish class due to his attention deficit hyperactive disorder. The school he attends recommended that he take a course in American Sign Language in place of the Spanish offered at his school.
I would need a tutor for myself and my son.
The school would require additional information on what your course offers.

I am learning French and German now in high school. I know more German than French and more French than Sign Language. I would like personal toutoring, if possible to perfect my German and French and would like to learn Sign Language from scratch. I am trying to get an early start on learning these languages for the business aspect of my future, i would love to become a translator and feel these languages represent me the most. I am free on most weekends, and several days out of the week for tutoring or class times.

Hello. I am interested in learning sign language to enable myself to communicate with collegues who are in the Deaf & Dumb Program in my company. I think its wonderful that my employer has given deaf and dumb people an opportunity to work in the company and I would like to reduce the communication difficulties I am facing.My work schedule is tight , so I would like to learn basic communication sign language as fast as possible. I am a beginning learner in Spanish and hope to be able to speak Spanish fluently. I also am slightly familiar with Sign Language. I have taken a course, but would love to take more classes. Learning sign language is not my first priority, but if a teacher was available live or online I would be willing to take the course.
I have recently moved and the ability to speak Spanish would truly help me advance in my career. I am currently working so I would need a teacher that is flexible with my schedule. I would prefer to obtain services on the weekends, however, I am capable of working at night. I am looking for a teacher that is dedicated and prompt. Someone that uses varying techniques to promote faster learning. I know that it takes time, but I am dedicated to learn as much as possible as soon as possible and I want my instructor to have the same view.

Dear potential teacher,
I am currently in the military and have about 3 years left, however when I get out of the military I plan on finishing college and hopefully persuing a career in special education. I have had the opportunity to work with some children with Down Syndrome, and would love to continue working in special education. I may not always need to know sign language to communicate to the children, however I am very interested in learning to communicate this way and I'm sure it will be helpful. I will get a book and start to teach myself but I would really love to work with a teacher one on one or in a class. My schedule is very difficult though, sometimes long hours. So I was hoping to find a tutor with a flexible schedule. I also dont have very much time left in San Diego because my ship is changing home ports to Japan in June 2007, so if you could help me out in any way or know anyone that could it would be greatly appreciated. The sooner I start the better off I will be in the future. I have a true desire to work with these children because we really have so much to learn from them. I will learn sign language sometime whether it is now or when I leave the military, but I would love to start now. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
