I am a begginer in Croatian. I would like to learn because the majority of college friends are Croatian. I have picked up some from being around it constantly but becuase i have the ability to learn languages at a fast pace I thought I would only benefit from learning the language. AS for Italian, I lived in italy for 3 years for University, although as I mentioned before my friends were mostly former Yugoslavian and arabs, therefore my italian suffered a little bit. I am intermediate- advanced italian and intermediate spanish. My priority is Croation at the moment. For Italian and Spanish, chatting and reading is all i need. But I need to start as a beginner for Croatian, I would like to dedicate at least 4-6 hours a week in Croatian. I work well with those who can excel at a fast pace. Vocabulary and grammar is a must.

Small group of students looking for an Italian Tutor
We are native English speakers with a considerable background in the French language. We are hoping to find a tutor who can act to compliment our regular Italian classes in school. We have had two years of experience with Italian but wish to be more fluent in the language. Our main focus is preparation for an international exam which would require a higher degree of comprehension , grammatical structure, verbal fluency, with special attention paid to pronunciation . We would require lessons on a weekly basis ranging from 1-3 hours from September to May of 2004/2005. The tutor should be one who can act to facilitate our learning by enhancing the material learned in class and going beyond to extend our general knowledge of the language. Our reasons for learning the language are mainly for personal interest, but, of course, may provide great career opportunities in the future.

Hi, I dont know any Italian so I'm a beginner.
I want to go to Italy (preferably Parma) to learn the language. It's definitely for career advancement as I studied Tourism Management and would love to learn a third language. I chose Italy, because I would love to learn more about their cultures and might want to explore the tourism industry there one day.
I will spend as much time as I need to learn to speak the language. I can stay up to about 8 months if they permit me.
Im just looking for a friendly, patient person who would love to teach me the language. I dont really mind if its a male or female, as long as its a fun person to be with.
