I am a raw beginner when it comes to learning Italian and though a teacher of English myself I am not, alas, a good language learner so I have decided that rather than plough through a book myself it would be best for my motivation to have lessons. I feel I need all round teaching, ie speaking, grammar, listening etc. How much time I can dedicate to my language lessons depends on the cost and this can be looked at at a later date. As for qualities in a teacher, well above all patience and constructive criticism.

- I would like to learn Italian for both professional and personal purposes.
- I am at the begginer level.
- I would like to start with conversation and touching upon grammer issues regularly.
- Weekly or bi-weekly sessions of 1h-1h30 each would suit my schedule.

The reason is quite simple.. I love Italy, not to mention that my girlfriend is Italian. About my knowledge, I would say beginner. Basically I understand it, but replying and creating correct sentences... that's the difficult part.
