I sponsor a child in eastern Africa and when I visit her I find the language barrier horrible her english is coming along but is still a long way off.

Hello
I've just returned from a trip in East Africa and I feel really motivated to learn Swahili. I could see that it would have been great to have been able to communicate with local people in their own language. I love Africa (that was my fourth trip there) and am sure I will go back. It would be great if, next time, I could speak some Swahili.
