Hello,
I would like to learn Italian because I will be travelling there this year in October and am interested in having some basic proficiency with the language. I am a beginner and have no prior experience learning Italian. My knowledge and abilities in French are intermediate.
Ideally I would like to have weekly or biweekly lessons, schedules permitting. I like to learn by understanding the rules of the language, its grammar, how the language is related to English and/or French and through repetition. I would be interested in learning oral and written Italian. My primary goal is to be able to get around wherever I am travelling and to be capable of interacting with people on a basic level.

Hello,
My name is Desiree Benvenuti and my second language is Italian. My dads side of the family were all born in Italy and therefore I grew up around it; however, cannot speak it as well as I would like. My family speaks a dialect, and I can understand most of what they say, but not all; and I can reply somewhat in english mixed with italian but would love to be able to speak fluently.
I signed up for a course earlier this year with my boy friend but school was to overwhelming so we had to drop the course unfortunately , but over the summer, and possibly spring I would like to start up again.
I would prefer one on one classes, a few times a week or a class with you, my boyfriend and myself.

Myself and my wife are contemplating a trip to Italy next year and are interested in learning some Italian. Neither of us has any experience in the Italian language. I am interested in learning conversationa l Italian.
We would be looking at any lessons to be in the range of 2 hours per week during the winter months, however, depending on the success and enjoyment of the experience we might look at extending any class beyond the winter nights.
Less ons must be fun and instructor should be relaxed and able to deal with two people who are barnd new to the language and only looking to obtain an understanding of the language to hopefully enhance our trip to Italy.
