I have studied 2 years of Italian through distance learning with the University of New England and would love to find someone to practise with. I am continuing this year with 3rd year so a teacher/tutor would not need to provide any course materials etc. Its really just to increase fluency and some grammar and writing practise.
This year 2011 I am comencing French and would love to find a tutor to just help me as I adjust to the language. Once again I have the course books, its just to have some fun getting to know the language better and to be able to listen to a native speaker, many thanks Monica

I need most improvement with grammar.

I would like to learn Italian language as a intermediate. I want to learn this language as I have to keep travelling to Italy for business.
As I am a beginner/inte rmediate I would like to learn the language completely to have better commande over it.
I am ready to dedicate time once I get in touch with my teacher I can discuss with her about the same (2 hrs per week).

I am learning Italian for fun and because we have bought a house in Italy. I have been studying the language for 2 years. I guess that means I would be an intermediate - advanced student.
I am looking for an Italian native speaker, who can spend either 1 or 2 hours per week, who can converse with me in Italian, give me approprite language exercises and give me appropriate level work to do to improve my written and spoken Italian. The person needs to be good conversationa list and be able to lead and direct the learning to suit my personal needs.

I am currently studying Italian at Year4/Advance d level at the University of Adelaide, Department of Professional and Continuing Education. The class includes several native Italian speakers and is too mixed in terms of skill levels for me. I feel that I am not learning in the most effective way. I would prefer a private tutor, teaching one to one, or in a small group of maybe three to five people. I believe that I am well versed in Italian grammar but I need to improve my conversation skills and confidence. My aim is to become fluent.
My wife is Italian (speaks a Veneto dialect) and we hope to travel to Italy in the next year or so. We may even have an extended stay of six months or more.
I would be very pleased to hear from any teachers available for private lessons.
