I'm interested in learning the language because I'd like to be fluent in another language aside from English. I know a few words of Spanish because I had some courses in college. Trying to learn a new language (Italian is my priority right now) since I don't want to be constrained to speaking/writ ing in English as well as in my native language.
I'm a beginner in the Italian language, although I've browsed some books on it. Learning with someone who speaks it well is ideal of course, and hopefully that somebody would be a pleasant person to interact with.
