I have been married for 4 years, my husband Italian. Time to learn! In-laws coming to visit again from Italy in May this year. Out of respect and for kids sake I need to learn language! Would like to go visit family in Italy, can only go once we know the language, most of them can't speak English! I feel out when hubby and parents having conversations !

Dear Teacher
I have started learning Italian with some CD's and books, but I feel speaking would be more effective.
I would like to learn Italian as my fiance is Italian and I might be moving to Italy or Italian-Switz erland by next year.
I am a beginner and only know some basic greetings and getting-aroun d sentences. I would prefer conversationa l learning. I did French up to 3rd year level in University. Spelling an Italian word on hearing it only comes quite easy to me, but the grammar and sentence construction needs attention.
I would prefer 2 lessons a week until I can speak fairly well.
A teacher who was born and raised speaking Italian is preferred.
