I have taken two years of spanish at university in the United States. I have come to Madrid in order to get TEFL certification and teach english as a foreign language. I have been in Madrid only a few days but I feel that I cannot communicate well or understand much when people speak to me in spanish. I feel that I am at a beginner level but I can understand much more when I see the words written out. I am looking for a spanish teacher to work with me one on one. I would like to focus especially on conversation and listening comprehension , as well as verb forms and tenses.

Hello,
I'm looking for a teacher to improve my speaking as well as some grammar so that I'll be able to take an exam. I usually use English for work so I'd like to sound more fluently during meetings, build clear sentences. Besides, I don't consider the exam the main goal for the classes.
I'm interested in classes of 1h/day a week or 2 depends if i finally decide to prepare the exam. Besides, I don't mind if I had to study for the class or prepare additional material.
Finally, I'm looking for a teacher who encourages me to be more confident with my English and see if I can do an improvement. My level is B2-C1.

I was born in Almería, Spain, although I now live in Madrid. My fascination with Greek started in 1996, when we started Greek lessons in school. My teacher back then, Antón Schrüder made me fall in love with the language, although I haven’t used it much. Now I am willing to start refreshing my skills.
