Hi,
My name is Allison and I'm a senior at El Camino High School. I'm interested in learning sign language for my senior project. I don't have any previous experience in sign language. I'm interested in sign language because I feel it's a worthwhile language to know. My aunt is deaf and not being able to communicate with her has always been a problem. I'd need about 15 hours of lessons and I'd require a mentor- someone who will work one-on-one with me to learn the basics of sign language.
Please respond to this and I hope to work with a mentor soon!

I know a bit of sign language from reading the Joy of Signing and from attending three classes at a community college. I would like to learn sign language because I've always admired people who know how to sign. I'd like to have a class once or twice a week for an hour or an hour and a half .
