I am a beginner for tagalog.
The reason I'm interested in learning tagalog is because my husband is Filipino and we live with his mother, so naturally they speak in their native tongue. I have only learned few words mostly the name of certain food, and other words are easy for me because Spanish is my first language.
What I would need mostly is conversation.
I work full time 8am to 5pm, monday to friday, so I would be able to have lessons 3 times per week and 1 in the weekend. The first time I would like to meet the teacher in person if possible and some lessons could be either over the phone or by internet. I am willing to drive to the Los Angeles area if necesary, preferably closer to the San Fernando/Rese da area.
The qualities for a teacher would be patient with me to learn, honest and friendly

I am a beginner of the Japanese language, and I've studied and memorized all of the kana. I would like to learn Japanese because I am hoping to live in Japan later in life and I would like to get a head start on my language. I feel I need improvement in all areas of the language. At the very most, I am able to spend four to five hours per week in lessons, but I will devote the rest of my free time to studying vocabulary and reviewing. I would like for my lessons to be on a regular basis, preferably 3 to 4 times per week, but any time will suit me. I have no preferences for a teacher other than experience with Japanese.
