I expect to visit Slovakia in 2014 and would like to learn to speak & understand conversationa l Slovak. I am a beginner who knows how to say a few random Slovak words and fewer phrases but I cannot read nor write the language at all. I currently have a basic understanding of some farsi, but not much. My father is Iranian, yet due to a speech problem when I was younger and my fathers busy work schedule for many years, learning farsi was put on hold for a later date. Time has flown bye and continues to fly bye, but I want desperately to start learning now. I want to do it for a couple reasons such as career advancement, being able to communicate with others when I go back to Iran, and to be able to communicate with my fiance (Iranian, Most importantly!! ).
