Jina lingu ni Ray Johnson. To begin my reasoning I must say I have always had a desire to learn other languages. Sadly in America you don't have a vast amount of languages presented to you. I love Africa, and my desire is to make staying and being active in the countries betterment my norm. I believe my proficiency in Swahili to be in the beginner category heading toward intermediate daily, unlike Amharic which I am still a beginner. The biggest improvement I need in my studies is the access to one who is fluent in order to reach mastery level. I wish to finish college with a degree in International Business and would like to learn the languages of the companies I will be dealing with. I am a beginner with no knowledge of Mandarin, and very little knowledge of Japanese. I am willing to dedicate 30min to an hour to each language. One lesson every other week. Only quality I need in an instructor is a lot of patience.

I am at the beginner level in Tagalog. I would like to find a teacher to guide my efforts in becoming proficient in Tagalog.
When my fiancee graduates from school, we will be getting married. I would like to surprise her with a new found ability to speak Tagalog! Learning Tagalog will also allow her to express ideas in her own language to me. This endeavor is extremely important to me, and I would like to find an instructor with a sense of professionali sm and an ability to guide my hard work efficiently.
I am ready to discipline and dedicate myself and all of my evenings and weekends to learning Tagalog, and I hope to find an instructor willing to teach me.
