My approach is conversationa l. Learning should be fun more than anything, that is my philosophy. Each student is the focus of the lesson, their individual needs become a personal challenge for me to meet in the most effective way possible.
Le ssons are taught solely in the tongue being taught, as long as the level of the student allows it. Young learners are exempt from this as their understanding or not of the language at first does not mean I will be speaking Greek (which as far as they are concerned, I cannot do!) but on the contrary, they must learn English in order to facilitate our playing together.
I have never taught the same lesson twice in all my teaching career. Both the student(s) and I bring our personalities to the lesson and what results is a unique mix every time.
I am also a pronunciation fanatic! I will not allow my students to mispronounce words, no matter how much it pains them at first! I will correct them over and over again ( my patience does appear to be e... |

I value the time I spend meeting new people, and my friendly, helpful approach is appreciated by my students.
