The first lesson is always free. I use that lesson to understand the students and their needs. That way I am able to categorize them accordingly.
I have different workbooks for different students depending on their level.

Teaching will be by translating words, phrases and even sentences from English to Swahili and explaining what they basically mean. In addition audio texts will be encouraged to test ability to pronounce words correctly. |

I start on basics depending on each students level of knowledge in the Language and build on what is previously learned. Starting with sounds is very crucial for beginners for it helps in correct pronunciation s.I like posting the lesson before hand and we later discuss it on Skype or phone, this dependent on the learners preference. I try to make the lesson process be as normal and comfortable as possible without making it sound as jargon. My lessons are more of interactive than 'filling an empty bottle.' |

One of the best ways to learn a foreign language is by listening to audios and watching videos in that language. However, this is a method that is best suited to intermediate and advanced learners. For beginners, the best way is to do regular oral and written exercises. These are the kinds of approaches I will use with my students. Moreover, I will organize cultural exchange initiatives for them both offline and online. |

My approach to helping students master Swahili
I focus on getting you speaking from day one. We start with high-frequenc y phrases you can actually use, then build grammar and vocab around real conversations — markets, travel, work, daily life. Each lesson mixes listening, speaking, reading, and writing, but speaking drives everything. I use spaced repetition and weekly feedback to lock in what you learn, plus short homework that reinforces class, not overwhelms you.
1.Goa l-driven & personalized: Before we start, I map your goals — travel, exams, family, business — and tailor every lesson to that. No generic textbooks. 2. Culture in context: Language isn’t just words. We use Swahili songs, stories, proverbs, and real Nairobi/Kenya n scenarios so you understand how and when locals speak. 3.Acc ountability + confidence: You get pronunciation coaching, recorded practice, and safe speaking drills. My students don’t just know Swahili — they use it without fear.
The result: you don... |
