There are three major aspects of language learning: Vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation . Danish grammar is actually relatively simple when compared to other languages. The nemesis of Danish for most English or American English speakers is the highly gutteral pronunciation . Over many years, I have mastered a number of tricks and techniques for teaching this. In person is best, but over the phone is possible.
I also use a specific text for my beginning and intermediate students which I have found highly effective in quickly grasping grammatical concepts while at the same time building vocabulary in a fun environment of stories, dialog and exercises which I ask the students to complete prior to each lesson. This allows me to assess strengths and weaknesses on a lesson by lesson basis and work with them.

I believe the main key to master a new language lays in, breaking down the insecureness, that may be in each individual, by creating a casual atmosphere, that way around, I let the student decide, where to meet up, where they feel secure and comfort.
A s relaxed as possible, is the best thing, that way you will feel like challenging yourself, and take the risk of making mistakes, together as a friend, i'll be able to trouble shoot, the problems and solve them. |
