Perfecto, Vale! I understand perfectly. It means that you began a course in English at one time, you stayed in the course for several weeks, but that for some reason you stopped after that.

Ciao! Some english idioms... er...
- It's raining cats and dogs (raining heavily) - Many hands make light work (lots of people make a job quicker) - The early bird catches the worm (get up early and prosper) - " See you later!" - "Not if I see you first!"
Some of these are the best I can think of for idioms, if I think of some more, I will post them. Hope that little helps.
PS... If you could teach me some general italian slang used between friends etc I would be grateful!
